The Bible,
The Word of God

The Bible is the Word of God. It was communicated primarily in Hebrew (Old Testament) and Greek (New Testament), beginning with Moses (circa 1440 B.C.) and the last writer being the Apostle John (who died near the end of the first century).

The main theme of the Bible is:

JESUS CHRIST,

BEING GOD AND BEING MAN,

IS THE ONLY SAVIOR,

THE ONLY MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN.

The fact that the Bible did maintain the same theme throughout the 1,500 years during which it was written indicates that the author is God. Despite all the controversies fabricated against it, the Bible continues to maintain its historical veracity and its inherent transformative power within its words.

Hands with a painted heart

"All Scripture is inspired by God

and is profitable for teaching,

for rebuking, for correcting,

for training in righteousness,

so that the man of God

may be complete,

equipped for every good work.

2 Timothy 3:16-17, The Bible, CSB

So... what is so special about the Bible?

One of the features of the Bible is its interconnectedness.  Chris Harrison and Christoph Römhild have found a way to display this beautiful intricacy.  Only the Bible has this design.  The correspondence among Bible passages is a direct indication of its supernatural authorship.

Our Story

ForGod.Net was born from the observations of small church pastors and leaders from Texas.  Their concern was expressed "for churches to improve in important areas for healthy church growth, mainly evangelism, discipleship, worship and theology."

One question often asked was, "is there a simple way to have a successful evangelism program?"

Click to edit

The answer is 'Yes'!   Church-wide evangelism can be done. It must be based on prayer, it must be prepared correctly, and it takes work.

Our efforts are geared toward helping churches accomplish this particular command of evangelism in an organized and consistent manner.

Our message... Jesus Christ

The story of Jesus encompasses the entire message of the Bible.  It is a message of love and reconciliation.  Please watch the video below - "The Story."

This short video "The Story" was made by "The Jesus Film Project." To watch it on YouTube, External link opens in new tab or windowclick here.

What We Do

We help churches improve their evangelism programs in ways that are very practical, reproducible, and sustainable.

There is one main problem when sharing our faith: how we approach people.  We know that, after 'breaking the ice,' Christians are very confortable - even excited - to share the gospel.  The issue, then, is, "how do we start the conversation?"

Our purpose is to help Christians start and maintain gospel-related conversations.  ForGod.Net provides and promotes simple evangelism systems for the local church.  Our interaction systems are friendly and direct ways of contacting people and maintaining a conversation.  We believe that any believer, when properly prepared, can maintain a successful and ongoing evangelism ministry.

"Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, for the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness, in the hope of eternal life that God, who cannot lie, promised before time began.  In his own time he has revealed his word in the preaching with which I was entrusted by the command of God our Savior."

Titus 1:1-3, BSB

For if I preach the gospel,

I have no reason to boast,

because I am compelled to preach — and woe to me

if I do not preach the gospel!

1 Corinthians 9:16, The Bible, CSB

   We must evangelize.

We Must Evangelize

Evangelism is commanded in scripture.  The message is urgent.  "Repent from your sins!  Believe in Jesus!  Today is the day of salvation!"  God really loves the world, really sent Jesus to die and to come back to life, and really offers eternal life to anyone who believes.

That is the is message.  Yet, more than ever, Christians are struggling both to find a platform from where to share the gospel and to find a listening ear.

          It's not in vain.

It's Not in Vain

Be encouraged!  Evangelism efforts are never in vain.  In fact, God says:

"For just as rain and snow

fall from heaven

and do not return there

without saturating the earth

and making it germinate

and sprout,

and providing seed to sow

and food to eat,

so my word that comes

from my mouth

will not return empty,

but it will accomplish

what I please

and will prosper

in what I send it to do."

Isaiah 55:10-11, The Bible CSB

     And it's doable.

And It Is Doable

Never easy.

Always doable.

Always a blessing

"How beautiful on the mountains

are the feet of the herald,

who proclaims peace,

who brings news of good things,

who proclaims salvation,

who says to Zion,

"Your God reigns!"

Isaiah 52:7, The Bible, CSB

Transformed life stories by the power of God

So... yes!!  Anyone who receives Jesus - believes in Him by turning his or her life over to God in Jesus' name - that person is really transformed.  The change is radical in that the individual becomes a child of God, in that the 'old me' is dead and the 'new me' has a new nature and a completely different perspective of life.

These are some individuals that have been changed by God.  Take time to listen to their stories.
